Autumn Leaf Paintings

We have budding artists in Room 7. Thank you Miss Sheehan for helping us to create these autumn leaf paintings.

Farewell to Rooms 17 and 18. It is exciting to see plans moving forward.

Making Butter

Today as part of our inquiry about 'Change' Room 7 children made some butter. In groups they each had a turn at shaking a jar 20 times turning the cream into butter. Then came the best part getting to taste it before doing a cut and paste activity sequencing the 5 steps. We were surprised at how good it tasted.

Kindness Art

This week we have been learning about how to be a kind friend and the sorts of things that kind people do. We painted some hearts to remind us how to do this! The children in Room 7 are amazing artists and these are going to look fantastic on our wall.

Week 2 Maths Learning and Fun Run

In Maths Mrs Clarke's group have been learning about measurement. We have been doing activities such as how many cups of water would it take to fill a 2 litre milk bottle or how many spoons of rice would it take to fill a cup. Luckily the rain held off last Thursday afternoon so the whole school could take part in the fun run. We all got very puffed but managed to run several laps of the obstacle course in our pyjamas. Here are some photos of us waiting in anticipation to begin.
