Sports with Miss Keys class

On Tuesday afternoon we were lucky enough to go outside for some sports with Miss Keys class. We played soccer, basketball, netball and cricket! We also worked on our throwing skills and played some parachute games. We hope that we can do the same next week!

Pre-school visiters

Last week we had several children from Bottle Lake Forest pre-school pay us a visit. They enjoyed playing games at Youth town sports and then joined us for some cold milk and a story. We look forward to seeing a few children start at Parkview with us next year.

Our new friends

This morning we had a visit from the new entrants beginning in 2018. 

 

 

Inquiry - Grass Heads

Today we spent some time giving our grass heads a haircut. We then wrote about our grass heads and what they need to grow. We used this as an opportunity for Tuakana - Teina (Older teaching younger) writing. Miss Sheehan's writers were a fantastic support for Mrs Lindley's writers.
