Inquiry - Grass Heads

Today we spent some time giving our grass heads a haircut. We then wrote about our grass heads and what they need to grow. We used this as an opportunity for Tuakana - Teina (Older teaching younger) writing. Miss Sheehan's writers were a fantastic support for Mrs Lindley's writers.

Teddy Day

The teddies will sleep well tonight after their busy day at school. One teddy managed to climb up onto the playground shade sails. Luckily Mr Fox was around to help rescue him. It was great to have 10 kindy kids visit us again this term. Some of them will be coming to Parkview next year. Everyone enjoyed buddy reading. Callum's buddy from the Kindy was Ezrah, Scarlet read to Isabella and Sienna read to Ruby. This afternoon Room 6 made a teddy headbands that looked very cool. A big thank you to Miss Sheehan for making 2 scrummy teddy cakes. What a treat!

Teddy Bear Day

We had a wonderful day at school with our Teddy's. We wrote with our Ted's, we read to them and we really enjoyed our outside picnic with them. The Kindy also joined us for a story about a very well behaved bear. At the end of the day we watched a story about the Berenstain Bears.
