Smiling because it's the last day of term and that means holidays! These six should be very proud of their first weeks at school because I most definitely am. Bring on Term 3!

Learning to write numbers

Today in Room 4 maths we have been learning how to write numbers. Check out our awesome work!

Skip Counting in Room 6

Children are learning to master the skill of skip counting in multiples of 2 up to 100. They have been quick to see patterns in numbers and today enjoyed using a variety of equipment to practice their counting in 2's up to 20.

Room 6 Library Visit

Before visiting the library today children wrote stories about what sort of books they wanted to look at. Hot favorites were sharks, dinosaurs and even snails. After listening to a story Steve and John, the Librarians, were very helpful in finding books on these topics. To finish off we listened to a fun song. A big thank you to Natalie (Jackson's mum) who accompanied us.

Certificate

Today we gave Ben his certificate because he was away on Friday. It was awesome to have our own mini assembly in class!
