Making Playdough
On Tuesday morning we made playdough. We began the morning by having a short whanau hui altogether and then watched a video on making playdough. Afterwards we went back to our writing classes to help make playdough.
Everybody loved this experience.
Book Fair
Don't forget to check out the Book Fair in the school library this week. Books can be purchased from 8.30am-9.00am and again after school from 2.45pm-3.15pm.
Playdough Fun
As part of a language experience, children in Room's 4, 5 and 6 had great fun making and kneading playdough.

Heavy and Light
In Maths the children have been rotating round the different teachers in our hub.
Mrs Clarke has been teaching area, Mrs Lindley about heavy and light and Miss Sheehan language (ie: under, over, left, right, behind, beside).
Here are a few photos of some children playing round with different objects to see which is heavier.
