Popcorn Please
Children who show respect and good self-managing skills, which tie into our school values, were treated to popcorn and a movie this afternoon. They had the challenge of sharing the popcorn with a buddy which they did without a grumble.
For the next several week's children in the junior school will be talking about the importance of using good manners.
Having manners is an incredibly important life skill. Saying please, thank you, greeting others, and not to interrupt in social situations will be some of the things we hope to see become more automatic with our tamariki.
